A filter kit sits on the air line close to the plasma cutter and removes moisture, oil and fine particles before they reach the torch. Wet or dirty air makes the arc unstable and shortens consumable life.It is especially useful when the air comes from a long hose, an older compressor or a damp workshop. Check and drain it regularly and replace the element according to the maker's instructions.
A remote switch lets you turn the plasma system on and off, or control it, from a distance, so you can stay at the cutting position rather than walking back to the machine.
