Experience unfailing precision arc performance paired with a state-of-the-art user-friendly interface that puts advanced capabilities at your fingertips. Dynasty TIG power sources help minimise error and achieve high-precision welds every time, making the best welders even better.

    Features

    • Easy-to-understand interface with a 4.5" LCD ensures proper machine setup and parameter selection. Informative on-screen explanations and dynamic images enhance the parameter selection process.
    • Program memory allows easy naming, saving, and recalling of favourite weld settings. Deliver more productivity by eliminating the need to manually set the parameters. Deliver consistent quality by welders of all skills.
    • Pro-Set eliminates the guesswork when setting weld parameters.
    • Locks and limits provide control of the weld parameter range minimising deviation from the welding procedure specification (WPS).
    • MIG/MAG (GMAW) Mode allows the operator to attach and run a suitcase feeder off the power source for high-productivity welding.
    • Auto-Line allows for any input voltage hook-up (120–480 V) with no manual linking, providing convenience in any job setting. Ideal solution for dirty or unreliable power.
    • Blue Lightning provides more consistent high-frequency (HF) arc starts and greater reliability compared to traditional arc starters.
    • USB front panel port provides the ability to easily update software, back-up settings and transfer saved weld programs from one unit to the next.
    • Cooler Power Supply (CPS), an integrated 120-volt dedicated-use receptacle for the Coolmate 1.3.
    • The Cooler-On-Demand feature operates the auxiliary cooling system only when needed, reducing noise, energy use, and airborne contaminants pulled through the cooler.
    • AC TIG Features. Balance control provides adjustable oxide removal which is essential for creating the highest-quality aluminium welds. Frequency controls the width of the arc cone and can improve directional control of the arc.
    • AC Waveforms. Advanced square provides a fast-freezing puddle, deep penetration, and fast travel speeds. Soft square for a soft buttery arc with maximum puddle control and good wetting action. Sine for customers that like a traditional arc. Quiet with good wetting. Triangular reduces the heat input and is good on thin aluminium. Fast travel speeds.
    • Independent amplitude/amperage control allows EP and EN amperages to be set independently to precisely control heat input to the work and electrode.
    • AC/DC Stick Features. DIG control allows the arc characteristics to be changed for specific applications and electrodes. Lower the DIG setting for smooth-running electrodes like E7018 and increase the DIG setting for stiffer, more penetrating electrodes like E6010. Hot Start adaptive control provides positive arc starts without sticking. AC frequency control adds additional stability when stick welding in AC for smoother welds. Stick-Stuck detects if the electrode is stuck to the part and turns the welding output off to safely and easily remove the electrode. Menu selectable.
    • DC TIG features an exceptionally smooth and precise arc for welding exotic materials.
    • Pulse Waveforms. Square provides a fast-freezing puddle for ultimate arc control. Sine produces a reduced audible sound and provides a more fluid puddle that is good for overlaying applications. Triangular provides a quick-forming puddle while further reducing heat for thin materials.

    110v TIG Welders FAQs

Straight answers to the questions people ask most when choosing and using TIG welders for 110 volt site supplies.

    Why would I choose a 110v TIG welder?icon-minus-redicon-plus-red

On many UK building sites, shipyards and industrial locations, 110 volt supplies from a centre-tapped transformer or generator are the preferred or specified way to power portable equipment, because they reduce the risk of electric shock in damp or rough conditions. A TIG welder made to run on 110 volts lets you work to those site rules without extra equipment.

Many of these machines are portable inverters, light enough to carry. Some are multi-voltage machines that also run from 230 volts, which gives flexibility between site and workshop. Always check your site rules and the machine's data plate.

    How much can I weld on a 110v supply?icon-minus-redicon-plus-red

A 110 volt supply can supply less power than 230 volts for the same plug and fuse size, so the maximum welding current is lower than on the same machine at 230 volts. That still suits thin and medium material, pipework and many repair jobs.

Check the rated output at 110 volts on the data plate or specification, not the headline figure for 230 volts. Thicker material, or long runs at high current, may need a higher supply or a bigger machine.

    What does a multi-voltage machine do?icon-minus-redicon-plus-red

A multi-voltage machine senses the supply and adjusts to suit, so the same welder can run from 110 volts and 230 volts, and sometimes other ranges. This gives flexibility if you move between site and workshop.

Remember that the output you get depends on the supply it is connected to, and that the plug and fuse or breaker must match. Always check the manual for the maximum current at each voltage.

    Can I run a 110v TIG welder from a generator?icon-minus-redicon-plus-red

Often yes, if the generator is large enough and produces a clean, stable output. Inverter welders can be sensitive to poor quality power, so check the generator's output rating, waveform and regulation against the welder's requirements.

A generator that is too small will cause cutting out or damage. The welder manufacturer's guidance on generator size and type is the best guide, and a 110 volt transformer or centre-tapped output is often used on site. If unsure, ask before connecting.
