The Fabricator ES 410iC is a heavy-duty inverter-controlled power source for MMA (Stick) welding, TIG (live-TIG) welding and CC Carbon-Air Arc Gouging. The Fabricator ES 410iC is built to withstand rugged use making it a perfect solution for industrial usage. Ideal for heavy industries using all types of electrodes, including Cellulosic.

Features

  • The intuitive control panel of the ES 410iC makes it easy to optimise settings, reducing the time taken to achieve the best weld characteristics
  • Equipped with Hot Start and Arc Force with the possibility to adjust parameters during welding. Hot Start helps to avoid starting problems while Arc Force sets the intensity of the arc for improved weld quality
  • Built-in Anti-Stick function to prevent the electrode from getting accidentally stuck in the puddle
  • Wide mains voltage tolerance allows for stable welding
  • Easy to read and quick to set panel increasing the accuracy and reducing the downtime
  • Inverter controlled for high efficiency and low power consumption
  • Excellent welding performance with all types of electrodes including Cellulosic

ESAB Arc Welders FAQs

Straight answers to the questions people ask most when choosing a welder from one maker's arc welding range.

How do I pick the right arc welder from within one maker's range?icon-minus-redicon-plus-red

Start with the work. Decide the thickest material you will weld, the largest electrode you expect to use, the supply you have and whether you move the machine around. Then compare models in the range on output current, duty cycle, supply voltage and weight.

Models within a range often share a similar look but differ a lot in output and features, so read the specification rather than choosing by appearance.

How do I tell which supply a model needs?icon-minus-redicon-plus-red

Check the data plate or specification for the input voltage and phase. Some models run on single phase, some on three phase, and some accept a range of voltages, including 110 and 230 volts.

Make sure the supply, plug and fuse suit the machine before you buy, and have any installation work done by a qualified electrician.

What is the benefit of a dual voltage model?icon-minus-redicon-plus-red

A dual voltage model works from either a lower site voltage or a standard mains supply, so one machine covers both workshop and site. It is a flexible choice if you move between jobs.

Output is often lower on the lower voltage, so check the figures for each supply and make sure the machine provides the current you need on the one you will use most.

What are the main features to compare between models?icon-minus-redicon-plus-red

Look at the maximum welding current, duty cycle at the current you will use, weight, supply options, the electrode types it handles and controls such as arc force and hot start. Display and ease of setting up also matter if several people share the machine.

Some models also offer extras such as lift TIG capability or settings for specialist electrodes. Match the features to your actual jobs.
